How do I introduce my silkies?

I have three barred rock hens and 3 baby silkie chicks which I will introduce to the hens once they are pullets. How do I do that? I can't spectate them because I don't have room for another run.

I used a large dog pen inside my run with a cat carrier for extra shelter. Silkies aren't big so it should work for them. Then introduce during free range time after they've had several days to stare at each other thru the bars.
