How do I keep the chicken from crossing the road?

So far mine have stayed off the rad, but i dont know what they will do come spring with all those tasty treats... bugs and stuff on the road.

I did have one get on there one time, she was scard by something, and I was on my way out to get her. Someone came rushing by, and I actually heard them SPEED UP, but she jumped out of the way at the last minute. They cured her of ever wanting to be out there again, but boy was I mad!!

I think the sprinkler idea is a good one, you could set up someone to drive by and wet her down, to give her a healthy dislike of the road.

Yes ! Please do what it takes to keep her off the road and off neighbors property . My one and only roo I raised from a baby had been wandering to neighbors yards and one day he never came home . A neighbor asked us to pin him up , but I didnt have the materials and a few days later I came home from school and he wasnt home .
