I just tried oats and they love them!

I tried that and it didnt work... I can do it for longer thought, I only did it for a couple of days.

A couple days isn't long enough do it for a couple weeks

I try to spend a lot of time sitting on the ground with my chicks I hold out a handful of food and let them eat out of my hand.

I’ve also noticed once my ladies start laying they get friendlier. The chicken perched on my leg in my profile picture didn‘t want to have anything to do with me when she was a chick. Now I can’t sit outside and read without her hopping on my lap so don’t lose hope.

Oh I should also say, I do not pick up my chickens. They are prey animals. In my opinion, prey animals are hard-wired to fear being picked up, because in nature anything that picks them up wants to eat them.

When they were younger, I had to chop the, now they eat them whole
