Try to remember that it WILL get better. You will find that you are better off without him. You will be stronger in spite of him and perhaps because of what you have learned. A person that loves you will be true and committed. If you have kids make them your first and only priority. If you don't have kids, do what the other person said and hug a chicken. They won't hurt you.

Remember, every day you wake up in the morning is another day to do better. Every day is a new opportunity. Take care of YOU.

I'm going thru the same stuff right now. It is simply the worst feeling. I'm heartbroken and quite frankly, stunned. I'm not looking forward to the coming days, of waking up every morning and remembering,"oh yeah, this is not just another day." It is the end of life as I knew it. But I do know that it is survivable. I also know it happens, probably to everyone at least once, I hope this is my last time, I hope the same for you. Good Luck

Never in my mind did i think i would ever be in this situation.

Having a broken heart is one of the worst feelings in the whole world. It is lifes greatest hurt. No matter where the break comes from, time is what it takes, and many times, just to sit down and cry and be miserable for a few hours before you have to pick yorself back up again and go to work, etc. I am sure there will plenty of people here willing to talk to you all night (over here anyways).
