How do I send a letter.

I dont know how to send a letter Okay if I was going to send a letter to some only 2 hours away from me, with some money in it? How many stamps would I put on it I know how to put the address and all but I dont know is im just to put one stamp ? or what please help I dont know how! Can someone give me and example of a pcture with a letter where to put the address and stamp and stuff please help!

It goes by weight.if its a parcel of just say,letters then one stamp will do.Ummmm quick question,are you on planet earth or mars...lol,just joking.....top right corner goes the stamp and top left is return address....in the middle would be the sender info.....any other ?"s

I would figure its spelled dought. I have never sent a letter other then in 1st grade when our teacher made us right a letter then she sent it to us... but anyway so 2 stamps, do I put my adrees on it someone just send me a example picture of a letter
