How do I send a letter.

Honestly, I think you need to talk to your parents/guardian about this. I'm not sure how old you are, but you seem rather young to be exchanging money via mail with someone you are unfamiliar with. Your folks should be able to help you out.

You do not send cash in the mail because, like others have said, some people will steal it. Bar the serial number, cash is untraceable. Therefore, people who find cash will often steal it, as they can readily take it to the store and spend it. The same is not true for say, a check, where they must risk themselves to go attempt to cash it. In addition, a check indicates who it is made out to, and if their identification does not match that name, then they will be unable to cash the check, and they may get arrested by the police for attempting to do so.

Another example of cash being stolen is when people drop their wallets or purses. Oftentimes, the cash will be the only thing missing if the person is lucky enough to get their wallet returned to them.

Please talk to your folks about this. You seem to be engaged in some material that is a little bit beyond your understanding.

Make no mistake about it though, we all used to be like that

If you decide to send the cash anyway. I would make sure to get it certitfied with a return receipt that way she has to sign for it. But I would send a money order instead of cash. Because if you send cash she could easily say she never got your letter and there goes your money. Better to be safe then sorry. I'm sure your parents could help you out. I mail stuff for my son all the time when he wants to order something.

Why do you need a dictionary next to the keyboard if you can just go to google and type in the approximate spelling and the right one comes up?

Because the dictionary is far, far faster for me to use.

Hmm, I think silkiechicken said that. The dictionary is faster for you? Like if you wanted to spell "amphetamines", or something like that, and wanted to check the actual spelling, you just type it into google and you are on your way. *shrugs* People are more confortable with that they know though.

The dictionary is longer because you have to locate the actual correct spelling, whereas the internet just tells you

To each their own.

Hey Amanda, Listen to these people.

I know they are just dumb adults trying to tell you what to do. But you know what, they are telling your straight from the heart. Too dang many freaky people out there these days looking to take advantage of kids (and old folks too)

First it's $20 for some ducks. Then maybe she can't find your house to drop them off and now you have to go meet her. Not cool!! People out there try to gain your trust and then screw with not just your head.......

I work with kids/teens every day. I wish someone would care enough about them to tell them not to do a few things like these people here are telling you.

Listen to them!!
