anyways, they are sex links, so im supposed to be able to tell, right? are they all hens, or all roo's?(god forbid) or do they have differences i dont see? i know what the adults look like for their genders, but what about the chicks?

Until they’re grown, you most likely won’t be able to tell the difference between the males and the females. For most breeds the only way to tell this early is to sex them but if you aren’t sure on how to do it I wouldn’t recommend it. It can hurt them if done wrong. Might just have to wait!

If you bought pullet chicks they should be sexed accurately at hatch before you bought them, tho that is not always 100% due to sexing error or mix up down the line.
By 5-6 weeks it should be apparent if any males are present as they will have much redder and larger combs/wattles.

All hens... males have white plumage...

Yeah, Red Stars are just Sex Links, I'm pretty sure (they do have a lot of names). And I'd definitely say yours are pullets, since, as Hawgfan pointed out, the females have red feathers; the males white. And I believe it stays that way throughout their lives. :)
