How do I stop my Chickens sleeping and pooping in nesting boxes

Lol, I wish I could have lots more! But I can only have 5 where I live. So I can get one more lol. But yea the white wood above the boxes is a solid wood to build off of it, yes it's prob about 52inches wide. I got a 8-10 hen coop sized for double the amount of birds I have bc they don't understand at all, what so ever how to build a coop

Sooo I had complete success with the girls not going in nesting boxes after I put down the new nesting pads and laid the fake eggs in there. They hv not even pooped in em! And today I got my first egg in the nesting box!! Yayyy

Yes! It just never gets old and even after 23+ years I still get "eggcited" and eager to see the colours when the pullets get to point of lay.

Question, my girls comb color change a lot is that normal? It'll be beef red, go pale as can be and a few seconds later be red again, lol. I figured with your 23 yrs u wud know lol
