How do I to tell a RIR from a NH?

I was given 15 red chicks this spring. I have no idea if they are RIR or NH. Is there an easy way to tell? I don't have any pics. I can get some later if anyone wants me to. Thanks!

RIRs are a much deeper red than NHRs... NHRs are more of an orange color.

I have a 6-7 month old NHR and she has the black at the tip of her tail feathers like the one in the pic above too. HTH!
