How do I trap a bobcat?

To those suggesting I relocate this beast. You are perfectly welcome to pick it up after I trap it under a couple conditions. You must turn it loose in your own backyard. You must live no less than 1000 miles from me. I will require a trap deposit in case you or the executor of your estate do not return my trap upon release of said animal. I will not be responsible for any damages the darling little 30 pound kitty does to you, your property, your children, your livestock or your pets including your 150 pound dog. You will take full responsibility for any such damages to others in your area. Yes this thing goes in my neighbors yard and attacks his large dog. Any takers?

hahahaha... when i had my first bobcat problem i called EVERYBODY i could think of,, including all the ZOOs in the area.. NOBODY would help me.. NOBODY!!!! that is why i shot them.. the first one killed over 100 chickens before we killed it... 2 years later the next one took about 30.. and 2 years later the last one took about 20 banties.. the house i live in now we lost about 5 chickens then HOTWIRED to whole top of the 6foot chainlink fence around the chickens.. have not lost one to a bobcat or coyote since..

anyway.. i did have the local humane soc. offer me a trap to rent.. i asked "OK what do i DO with the cat after i trap it, call you ???"
animalcontrol.. "oh NO, we wont handle that, just relocate it"..
me "to where???"
AC " someplace with food and water, not near homes"
me "where???? i thought you are suposed to handle this kinda stuff"
AC "i dont know WHERE.. and we only handle domestic animals.. and just be careful when you release it.. it could turn and attack you.."

WHAT??? NO HELP!!!??? and it will attack ME!!!!?????
no way.. i got my good ol' reliable .22

If you shoot it , dont post that you did, in many areas , thats a no no.

If you try and trap it , and relocate it, you got more nerve than I do.

You need no tags for bobcat here just a small game license. If you hunt on your own property you do not even need that. Either way I am getting my sportsman license tonight or in the morning that covers all hunting and fishing licenses accept federal duck stamp and alligator. I live within a mile of some public hunting land so hopefully the bobcats territory is over there as well. I plan to do a little small game hunting there this coming week. Not to pursue him but maybe we will cross paths.
