Did you mean have separate feeding stations when they are together in the run? I would have multiple feeding areas and water stations if you are just starting to blend them in, so no one get bullied out of food and water. For your 2nd q, are some of your chicken not coming in the coop? Staying in the run at night?

I separated them now and closed the run to the old ones so they can see each other and get used to seeing each other do you think its ok

How old are the new chickens and how old are your old ones? And how many of each group are we talking about?

I got 10 hens that are 1 year old and got 13 that are only 20 wks old. They are together in my run with a partition and screened doors, they are seeing each other and am having them get used to each other for few weeks now. I have put them together in a coop overnight before when the young ones were only 16 wks, it didn't work out, so I decided to have them separate with a chicken wire wall They will be together not for long now since they seem to be used to each other.
