How do u de-junk your body??

Please don't take any wacky junk products that claim to detoxify your body. These things are a waste of your money, and sometimes even down-right dangerous. And don't forget, you can also get sick if you take too many of certain vitamins (C and E for example) and even drinking too much water. Like a lot of people have already said, eating REAL food and getting some exercise can do wonders for a body that's had it rough for awhile.

You got that right!
I'll also swap with friends and neighbors. For example, my eggplant are going to be a miserable failure this year, so I'm trading eggplant from my friend's garden for eggs.
It also helps if you have an arsenal of different recipes for what you get a lot of. I'm the "zucchini recipe queen"!
Find lots of egg recipes. I make at least one batch of egg noodles a week, then find different ways to prepare them. Flour, eggs, water - that's it. The thing I've found is that I can't be picky about variety. We eat what we have.
Buying organic is expensive, but I'm choosy about what I buy. I get mostly fruit. If you get "everything" organic you'll go broke, but if you're careful you can get key products/ingredients organic and get the rest conventional.
On detox products: The previous poster was right about being careful of bogus products. Yes, I detox. I feel better for it. That's an individual decision.
A good "whole food" supplement is also something I like to take. Like I said before, listen to your body.

anyone use apple cider vinegar to detoxify? I've just started reading/learning about it.

There are many types of detox programs. I've never fasted, just ate sensibly. I could never/would never use a detox program that included fasting. The body NEEDS nutrients to stay healthy!
Besides... I like to eat!

I fast all the time.....

usually its between breakfast and lunch and then again between lunch and dinner. its the most horrible 4 hrs of my day!!! Just the thought of not eating for any amount of time sends me screaming to the fridge.

I just recently lost 39 lbs (as of this am! GO ME!!) eating meat, vegetables, cheese (yes cheese!) lots and lots of eggs. I don't eat refined sugar and don't eat bread. I just eat "real" food. with ingredients you can pronounce...

I go to the gym 4-5 days a week. I have never felt better.

debiraymond you and I are on the same page.

I think I'll go have some blueberries... It's past lunch time...

That's how I lost 42 lbs! (Yeah us! LOL)

Eat REAL food. I would also skip grains and starches for a while. Even whole grains can make you feel bloated and sluggish. After you have been off of them for a while, add them slowly back in and see how you feel. Many people have health problems related to wheat and soy and don't even know it.

Also remember that natural fats are your friends. Saturated fat does not cause heart disease regardless of what you may have been told. Cholesterol doesn't make your heart "asplode". Your BRAIN is mostly fat and cholesterol. Fatty acids are necessary for good health. Margarine, hydrogenated fats, canola oil, corn oil, etc.. are all highly processed garbage. Stick to REAL butter, non-hydroginated lard, coconut oil, olive oil and other cold-pressed nut oils like sweet almond oil.

Here is some great information on fats to get you started.
