It also helps if you have an arsenal of different recipes for what you get a lot of. I'm the "zucchini recipe queen"!
Find lots of egg recipes. I make at least one batch of egg noodles a week, then find different ways to prepare them. Flour, eggs, water - that's it. The thing I've found is that I can't be picky about variety. We eat what we have.
Buying organic is expensive, but I'm choosy about what I buy. I get mostly fruit. If you get "everything" organic you'll go broke, but if you're careful you can get key products/ingredients organic and get the rest conventional.
On detox products: The previous poster was right about being careful of bogus products. Yes, I detox. I feel better for it. That's an individual decision.
A good "whole food" supplement is also something I like to take. Like I said before, listen to your body.
