How do we dispose of 50+ layers?

If we can't find out what disease they have, how do we dispose of 50 hens? We have 10 acres if that matters.

Dig a deep trench and bury them.

Clean up everything and start over.

Sad, truly sad.

If there is a mass die off, your local ag university or local extensions office might be able to lead you to where you can get a necropsy done on the diseased.

That said, in the end, regardless of cause, you should burn the bodies, as burring can be dug up and spread via wildlife.
