How do we get our Peafowl BACK into the coop??

Our 3 peafowl (2 hens and a cock) have been in trees for 4 days and won't come back into their coop! I could only hear them beeping a few days ago; now I don't hear anything!


They've been in the coop for about 2 months and I left the door open to let it air out and hoping the chickens would get over their illness. Then, the peafowl went outside and flew into the trees nearby, the next day they were further away and now I have no clue where they went.

Do you think they're gone for good or is there a way to get them to come home?

Sorry about your peafowl. I would like to know how to catch them too. We have 7 adults and 3 youngsters from spring roaming around here. We would like to pen them up, keep a pair or 2, and sell the rest of them, if only we could catch them

Sorry to hear they ran off. Place feed out if you still see them.

If you still see them, Use a pen like a dog kennal with a top. Place feed in the kennal, tie a rope to the gate went they go in to eat just pull the gate shut.

I wonder if one of those safe traps would work for peafowl?
