How do we manage to get into these situations? Collected another "Slightly Damaged Stray"...

It's definitely going in the barn. Probably in Gus's stal, next to the giant map of the US.

(Yes, Gus has a map of the United States in his stall.)

What a good looking boy he is! While his feet are certainly a hot mess and he's a little thin, his body condition doesn't look to be too terribly bad. I'd be a little cautious with the grain - free access to good, quality hay will bring him back up to weight in a safe way. Good luck with him! Glad he came thru the surgery okay. I'm completely jealous as I have a real soft spot for grey horses.

I think he's actually thinner than he looks. He's so big, he just doesn't look as thin as he is. I was surprised today...you can feel every bone on him. :/

And that was just a rough sketch, not to mention the first time EVER that I had tried to draw a horse! Now... this... this is the one of Terry and Gus, all cleaned up (but with the knuckle smudges that all my drawings sadly have. Curse thee, crooked joints!)

That is VERY good Tani! Can't wait to get them! They're going to be framed and put in his stall.
Well, my dad should be picking up a shipping tube today, and we'll send them out. I'm just finishing the last one, of just Gus's face. It's funny, I used to never be able to draw from sight, only from what was in my head. But this past week, I've been able to draw everything I see, even horses, which used to be really hard! Or maybe it's just Gus. He's every bit as pretty as my usual dress designs.

Any Gus-dates today?
