I had rats in the old milk house. The cats could not get to them and they were chased out of the known holes by possums, ground hogs and skunks.
I shoot the possums, do not worry about the ground hogs and trap the skunks. (ewwww)
I put down a sack of Auromycin medicated feed. I guess they ate so much of the stuff that they killed thier intestinal bactieria and died off.
They must have REALLY liked the stuff as the chewed through the plastic sac to get at it !!
I have used "one bite" in the past with GREAT results. You just have to bit vigilent to pick up the rat bodies or the ones just hanging out dying.
I do not have a bit of emotional or psycological problems killing rats, possums or snakes. I really reserve the right to kill snakes as they are very bendficial. I can not think of any thing a rat or a possum is good for.
