I have no idea, but there is no way to ship eggs in that box without them all getting smashed.

I use the 11.5 x 9 x6" box. Its $9.85 ( I print my own labels online ) I can fit up to 16 large chicken eggs or 16 call duck eggs, or 4 goose.

For up to 8 eggs I use the 7 x 7 x 6" box.

After they are packed up they look like this.

I have been shipping eggs in the small priority box and saving some money. I think its 7x7x6. You can cut a 12 or 18 pk egg carton in half and both halves fit perfect in there on top of each other. Just put buble wrap over the eggs and shut the lid on the carton. Put some type of packing material around the carton to take up space and your done. Hope this helps

The $4.95 box is a about video cassette size box. I agree eggs would be smashed in that quickly.

Depending on the zip I can ship 8 eggs in the 7 x 7 x 6 box for $5.

I know you all think I'm nuts but I send my eggs in a large flat rate box and I cushion them by crumpling up and twisting a sheet of newspaper around each egg and I have had the best results with just that, newspaper and nothing else. If I need to absorb empty space I usually just wrap up bonus free eggs of my choosing until the box is firmly packed and tape it up and head to the PO.

There is a smaller flat rate for up to say 10 egg or so. $5.50 I think??? Correct me if wrong. i got one delivered just yesterday w/8 large eggs in it for $5.50 sent priority mail.
