How do you avoid tracking chicken poo all through your house?

Yup gotta have outside boots here. I have two pairs of muck boots. One for winter (they are more insulated) and one for summer (just your basic rubber wellies). They stay in the garage. I put them on when I am going out to tend to the animals and they come off before I come inside. With the amount of mucky mud, horse manure and chicken poo we have, I would never be able to get away with crocs

I have outside muck boots although I don't have to use them 100% of the time right now as the ground has so much snow that my shoes are poo-less when I get back. Either way, shoes off at the door no matter what!

All shoes off at back door. I make everyone wear one pair of shoes out if going around the chickens or goats.

I have an apron, made from denim jeans, with pockets for all chicken tending thingies. That''s by my wellies at the back door. so my clothes don't get mucky, my birdies like to be picked up and talked to.

Like Sir Birdaholic - wood floors, 2 dogs, no problem.

Or try geese.
My Mom always said geese sh*! like a Holstein cow. After some time with them, your little bittie chicken poos won't seem so bad anymore.

I'm house broke.

Both my wife and I take off our outdoor boots/shoes when we come into the mudroom. I have house shoes I slip on and so does DW. We both grew up on farms, so we know about stuff like poo.

OTT, our next door neighbor lets their chickens range all over, including our yard, so ya gotta watch. I usually keep mine in their fenced in yard. But -
