How do you bathe chickens?

washing poopy chicken butts is not fun. I use 5 gal buckets. One bucket for clean warm water one with a cocktail of warm water, permethrin, Medicated Main & Tail horse shampoo and salt. Clean water bucket full to the top and soap bucket half or less. just enough to cover the vent good. Once in the bucket and standing i can let go of the wings and wash the poopy butt and vent until clean with one hand while holding the neck/back with the other. not much room to flap in a 5 gal bucket. I have two that love a bath and one that hates it. The others are indifferent. All of them like their feet, comb and wattles oiled.
