How do you candle dark brown eggs?

I have seen a lot of comments of its difficulty, have I missed the solution? Like the Black Copper and Cuckoo Marans eggs. Is it a matter of quality of the candler or is it not possible?

Just make sure that the room is very dark and your light is very strong...I've always been able to see at least the air cell and veins.

I mainly check to make sure the aircell is growing and do the sniff test to make sure it's not bad.

Thats what I have been looking at on some dark brown eggs I have. Air cell, not stinky. I swore today that I could see a dark blob in one finally Day 17
