How do you get out of hatching addiction ?

You have to make shure your coops are very sturdy I know some people that use concreat or bury the wire partly under so animals cant dig under , only let them range while someone can be there to watch them , get a guard animal of some sort some breeds like great pyrnese (spelling) are good with that some times heck a pair of big old geese might be a good deternant lmao if you have ever seen someone attacked by them, I saw a guard camel one time with a farmer that had small goats =P. There is a section for preditor control have you looked at it?

The only thing that stops me is WINTER!!!

rosiethechicken,
perhaps coud do it for other people,do all the hard chicky work for them andd use the money they pay to put towards paying for more coops/runs for own chickens [as in,get more chickin].

am going to be doing regular incubating through the summer for one person-the owner of the residential home and autism service am in,as we lost almost all our chickens due to foxes despite being in fortresses for runs and coops.
have also offered services to a support staff who is seriously considering it as there are two days a week he woudnt be at home enough to do the turning.
am not expecting payment because am not able to work, love being with animals and it gives something to do,but in other peoples cases itd be an opportunity thatd help both the addiction and being able to pay for current chickens upkeep!

its great when are finaly a proud mother of chicks [and the expectant mother of many more to come],have told all the support staff who have had a baby; its so easy being a single mother and having kids plus whoever said itd be painful & require stitches is a big wuss,it winds them up no end.

lol i watched my mom growing up and she would get so into it and i thought geezz it's just eggs lol but now that i am married and a mom and seeing my son watch me and say the same thing lol i just chuckle to my self !

I don't know. Today is my first "hatch day". So far two chicks and two ducks. I'm soooo excited. I can already tell I'm addicted.

I'm not talking about any one specific. Just letting everyone know I'm in the same boat. I just don't care to find out the other 11 steps. Well not yet anyway.
