Yeah, we get the same bill for water every month so it doesn't matter how much we use... But its still nice to have an idea on how much water you use.I wish I knew.![]()

Thanks. Yeah that is pretty amusing! LOLgreat thread. I am housing 6 hens and soon to add a couple of turkeys. I just ordered a large waterer and trough feeder from amazon. The little quart waterer and chick feeder is not cutting it! I have been adding some scraps and scratch a few times. The bedding is hay and they nibble on that as well. Its fun to see them dart all over the run chasing bugs. "free treats."

Haha! Awesome names!I am a newbie here so bear with me. But I picked up 6 sexlinks over Easter. 3 black, 3 gold. But now the gold are filling out as red. A RIR in the mix? I dunno. They are really personable and the kids are having no trouble whatsoever. The turkeys are hopefully 1 Tom, 1 Hen of Rio Grande variety. A friend of mine and I picked up a few to hopefully get some "pairs" to breed with. He is the poultry man and has the experience here. lol. The poults are very chirpy and love to be held and just follow people around. As they get bigger, I will introduce them back into the run. More chances for feeding and socializing. BTW, the tom is named "gravy" and the hen is "din-din". Unfortunately, these will not be consumed this Nov.![]()
