CarterChickens
In the Brooder
I have a couple of chickens that are limpy at the moment. A less than a year old turken has been favoring one leg and limping for months now but can get around and eats and drinks normal. Two days ago I came home from work and one of the other less than a year old chicks is now favoring one leg and she mostly lays down but will eat and drink normal. I have kept the two confined in the coop separate from the flock for two days to attempt them to rest, thinking it may be a sprain. There is no swelling in either hen or any signs of trauma. What can I do to help them get back to a mostly normal state? I’ve read they may always have a limp but I’m trying to get as much info as possible.
