@Debs Flock haha we could have a play date, if you're ever in California let me know
I like the runners they are so.funny. she is a little.more wild than my.pekin and very fast but these breeds seem to get along together very surprisingly wellLOL...wouldn't that be great if they'd all play together like they already knew each other?! I'm starting to think I should maybe get a couple of runners.

I think my 2 Rouens would get along with any other breed. My Pekins are a bit bossy, but also happy go lucky. I'm just so anxious to find out their gender! I've now started having dreams where they all refuse to "talk" so I never found out if they were male/female.
I think he is. Because those predator birds aren't gonna go near anything they know is bigger than they are. They know the little ducks are vulnerable animals but a larger creature then forget. One of the other BYC members was talking about birds of prey and she said she wasn't gonna let her ducks out to roam free in her yard until they were bigger than a football since the hawks, etc like their prey to be smaller than one.My boyfriend has a theory that a hawk, eagle, etc won't swoop down if I'm within 5 feet or so of the babies. Do you think he's right?
