I bought 6 cornish broilers and even though they have the recommended 4 inches of bedding they all have raw crusty bellies. Is there a way to fix that?[IMG]

those are sort of like stretch marks that area is growing faster than the feathers can. Raising them on fresh clean grass moved daily helps a lot, so does clean bedding

There is not a lot that can be done, these chicks just grow so fast. We currently have 25 that are 3 weeks old some look like that also. We have started slowing their growth this week to give their organs and legs a chance to catch up before they start having issues. GL
