Would love any and all tips, commiserations, experiences about how to not worry over every single thing your chicks do!! I’m watching them al day and every time anyone acts even a little off, I’m obsessively googling. We did lose two in the first few days, one quite unexpectedly, so I think I have some nervousness from that.

Thank you!!

Find something else to do so your not hovering over them like a hawk.

Guessing this is your first?

Its totally normal to be nervous about your chicks at first, especially if you don't know what to expect. Over time you will become comfortable with their actions knowing what is normal and what is not. As long as they are running around, eating, drinking, which are all signs of good health, then all is well. Watch them closely and they will actually train you! :D

Enjoy them at this age, they grow so fast!

I am so sorry for your loss and the extra stress. First advice is to not google things, google isn't always right. I would suggest posting here first, then we can all have a conversation to help.
On my end, I come from an enormous family because it is huge we have many deaths a year. I am not numb to death but because of this our entire family focuses on the good in a bad time.
Animals are worse to lose because they don't live to be 100 years old.
But I still cry over deaths human or animals and I look to the positive side.
It is tough but I try to let mother nature take control with the aid of myself and medicine when needed. Usually when chicks die so young, they wouldn't have had a chance growing up, there is something wrong that we humans can't fix. But they had a great loving home and they left little chick foot prints on your heart.
You can always post pictures, videos, or just a question no matter the question, we would all love to help in any way we can.

Thanks everyone! Yes, this is our first time (how’d you guess haha!). They are two weeks old. I think I need to find other things to do 🤪
I have raised many broods of poultry and I still get obsessed, I get up at 1am to check on them, I stare into the brooder, hold them constantly, its normal!

The other things you will find to do, waiting until they are out of the brooder, joining them in the mornings outside while your drink coffee and share your breakfast, tell them about your day before saying "hello" to anyone else in the house, purposely growing vegetables or fruit not for you but for the chickens. You will find lots to do... for your chickens!
