How do you MAKE a personal page here?

I am probably missing it, but I have no idea how to even start to make a personal page on BYC. Help please.

Go to index at the top of the page-then my page. When you are there you will see a place to edit page I think

When I click on My Page, I get a box that resembles a Word text box. Is that the start?
