In one of the coop designs on this site I saw feeders inside a coop that were mounted to the wall. They appeared to be made out of PVC pipe. The person did not give detail on how they were made just that they worked well and the hens didn't waste the feed. can someone please help because I would like to use them in my coop. thanks

Mother of 3 kids (11, 8 and 4) one dog, one cat, 3 RIR 8 weeks old and 2 GLW about 9 weeks old. New to this chicken thing and loving it. Love this site very informable.

My husband made one out of 4" pvc pipe that he placed across the end of our coop so all the chickens could get in and feed at the same time because they were knocking over our metal one. He sawed it in half and then put ends on and spacers in to make it more stable. Seems to be working well!
