My roosters all get named after professional wrestlers from the 80s and 90s. My hens don’t get names unless the kids name them or they have some distinctive feature—my biggest chicken is called Fatty then I think of the two dozen there are only a couple with anything resembling a name and they’re not very creative. My favorite hen is called Little Brown Hen. I’m too lazy to keep up with naming them all

I let my grandkids name my girls, the names are Snowflake, Abigail, Venom, Rosie, Finn, Ro-Ro, hey-hey, Lacie, Hallie.... they really do all have unique personalities...

We named Love, Peck, and Peeper based on what they were like when we got them. A couple came with names that we modified (Rocky --> Roxy). I let others name a few (Pepper, Eggo, Chichetta). The current batch have names my kid liked: Marie, Luiga, Olive.
