That their animal is not up to snuff. Someone wants to trade me a rabbit kit for her buck, and her buck is NOT up to standards for my stock. That sounds snooty, but my stock is all grand champion stock. But I need to KEEP her as a friend/reference. I told her no on the buck and I would like to see more of her stock. Is that bad? Is that mean? I am new to rabbits..... But NOT without information.

maybe she already knows her buck is not up to top quality and she is taking advantage of you!!

To be fair, you do have utterly gorgious rabbits, which is why I was first in line, and sent the deposit asap.

so back to lack of space, as you're keeping one of your own bucks. Or, "I'm so excited about where the next breeding will go, that we're decided not to bring in fresh stock till then?"
