How do you pronounce Cuckoo Maran?

it is with an s Marans.

I say it the same way as I pronounce the clock that has the little bird pop out of it one , time for the half hours and then on the hour, as many times as the hour is.

The sound it makes is, also the name of the clock.

and I wholly agree we are all like that clock.

I've lived all over the country and never heard anyone say CUH-coo. It's definitely coo-coo. And I say "MARE-ans" with emphasis on the first syllable. Go here and put the word in the box and listen.
