How do you pronounce Wyandotte???

I say it like 'why-n-doat'

to-may-toe or tom-ma toe I call my girl a why an dot after all that is how it is spelled...wyan dot te but whatever works for you is good.

I know this is an old thread and all, but I found it being pronounced on Merriam Webster. And they actually say it for you. I can just that I didn't know how to say it either after only reading the name and never hearing anyone say it.
