I don't know much about Pocahontas, but I don't doubt it.And Pocahontas. They absolutely butchered that one, from what I hear.

Yep, Frozen two was okay, I liked that it was like it’s own original story.Frozen is (very, very, VERY distantly) based off an old folk take called The Snow Queen, which is a sweet little story about a young girl who would go to the ends of the earth searching for her best friend who everybody else thinks is dead. Very sweet and uplifting.
I never had anything against Frozen, but when I learned it was based off The Snow Queen I grew a little grudge against it. Disney ruins all the sweet old folk and fairy tales, in my opinion.
Frozen 2 is okay. I prefer Disney Originals. Some of the music is pretty catchy!

They ripped that story apart and then pieced it back together to make it a sweet-ish movie. In real life Pocahontas was only eleven when John Smith came, and he left two years later without looking back. and while she did keep the peace, there was a lot of stuff that was left out. For example, she was forced to become a "lady" the colonists gave her the name Lady Rebecca and she was forced to marry John Rolf. Later in her life She was taken to England (without her permission) and she was paraded around as proof that the "savages" could be civilized. She died on the way back from England due to not having the same immunities that the people born there had. She was 22. I may have gotten the time line mixed up on this, so if I did sorry! And Pocahontas. They absolutely butchered that one, from what I hear.
I think that that's mostly right. They definitely butchered that story. They ripped that story apart and then pieced it back together to make it a sweet-ish movie.
