How do you put a duck down?

i have a 3 month old pekin and he is walking on basically his ankle..... his foot basically turns all the way around. He can’t walk, I have to carry him to the other ducks. His quack is very dry and raspy. He is definitely suffering.

I am very sorry any chance you can have your vet put your Pekin down?

I have used this on a few chickens when there was no hope I am sure it would work on a duck too just haven't had to use it on one of mine yet.

Are you giving him niacin? This can be caused by niacin deficiency.

You can take him to the vet and they will euthanize him. I would try to have him seen and get help or get better before resorting to euthanasia.

Sounds like the foot is completely broken from the leg if it's turning completely around.
