How do you store your eggs?

Pics
When I traveled, the Aussies were the ones to hang with -- always the life of the party!

How old are your hens?

We are the life of the party. My partner and I met because we were beer pong partners lol. So you could imagine us as a couple lol.
My hens are 6 weeks old. They are babies but look like little hens.
How old are yours?

Buhahaha! Beer pong partners! So cute!

Awwwww -- 6 weeks old, they are in their awkward dinosaur stage, but starting to look like grown up little ladies (and possibly gentlemen -- you'll know soon enough).

I have 3 different ages: some are 1.5 years old, some a year old, and then I have 4 pullets who are 18 weeks. The youngest are just getting ready to lay, and exploring the nest boxes daily, squatting for me, and letting me know I'm going to have a LOT more eggs very soon!

Like this!

Oh my... that would be a nightmare for me! I'd have to be digging down to the bottom any time I needed an egg to try and use the oldest first. I could never do it this way... They'd need to put one of those long sleeved shirts on me... the ones with the buckles and straps...

I'm making an assumption that this is after collection but before packaging/"cartoning"? That sure does look like a nice collection. Very nice basket too!

Ohhh I can't wait to get eggs for the first time. Ill be so excited.
I feel like I may have one rooster. But I bought them sexed so they should all be hens. Im not sure if we can have a rooster either. We are on 10 acres but so may not be an issue.
Have you got photos of yours?

*Should* all be hens..... Watch the behavior of the possible roo. Could be a very dominant, large hen (our Cuckoo Marans was like this) or it could be a cockerel. Our rooster crowed early -- 4.5 weeks, no lie, he started trying to crow. We thought someone was being murdered in the bathroom (where the chicks were brooding).
