I have achieved my rainbow egg basket! But whenever I try to take pictures they are very washed out in color and the eggs look pretty similar. I want to see those beautiful blues and olives and pink-tans and cremes in my photo. What do you do to get good photos? I'm just working with your standard smart phone right now. Do you find certain lighting or backgrounds help to bring out the colors?

Not sure of your brand but if your smartphone is an iphone, you can click edit on your picture and then the 3 gray color wheel circles. You can change to a vivid picture or mess with the others to see if it works.

I am new to egg laying, but found that natural light on a white plate with no flash and no shadows being cast helps a lot. Also make sure your smart phone is focused on one of the eggs. On my "smart" (pretty dumb) Droid, I tap the screen on one of the eggs.

We got 12 on Tuesday and 11 yesterday. I'm guessing 13-15 of our 22 are now laying. So far no dark browns... I was hoping our two wellsummers would do that for us, but I guess not. I know at least one is now laying.
