I just got a new pullet and she's very jumpy. I mean, who wouldn't be? She was picked up and put in a box and is now in a completely new place.

This isn't my first time buying skittish adults. Pippin and Fries were terrified when I got them. But I could catch them and spend time with then because they couldn't fly. However, this new pullet has already flew over me and all over the run!
She has the run to herself and all the other chickens are outside, but I need to get her in her integration pen tomorrow because I won't be home to let them out. I can't even catch her!
The seller said she was friendly, so I know this pullet has the ability to trust me.
I'm currently sitting in the coop watching her roost with a bowl of treats in front of me. If I do this everyday I should gain her trust, right?

Questions:
  1. What's the best and quickest way to earn a new chicken's trust?
  2. How do you catch flying chickens?

I can tell that Dally is more comfortable now with her new home. She is laying and I saw her scratching around the bedding. She seems slightly less jumpy when I walk past her, but we've still got a lot of work to do. Once she's comfortable with her surroundings she should start to open up

I let them come to me, instead of chasing them. I like to watch them, so, I will sit in the run, casually throw out a bit of scratch, quite a ways away. Let them eat, do nothing but sit. Next time a little father away, a bit later a bit more closer to me. Next day, much closer to me.
