How do you tie up a cabbage?

I just cut a groove around the core and tie a slip knot around that and hang it up.

I cut a big square of deer netting, put the cabbage in and bring the 4 corners up clip onto a dbl end snap and hook to the chain hanging from the rafter. Sometimes cabbage, sometimes leftover lettuce and bread...easy

I use a hay net. You can get them from Farm Supply stores for about $5. They work great for hay too.

I use a simple "eye screw" (the one w/COARSE THREADS-not the ones for a threaded nut) into the main vein of the cabbage, then simply hang it up. For me, that's a no brainer!!

I don't bother, just roll it in there. They peck for hours!
