How do you use egg shells?

I feed them back to my chickens no grinding or anything special just whole eggshells. I have never had a problem with egg eating either because of it.

I give them to my chickies as a calcium supplement They also like the membrane part. Most people bake them in the oven but I give the shells to my chickens without putting them in the oven.

I toss them out the kitchen window and the chickens gobble them up in seconds. Zero crushing is needed

Yes I don't grind mine either, they seem to break it apart themselves by grabbing the eggshell in their beaks and hitting it on the ground to break it apart Smart things

My chickens like crushed egg shells better than any other form of calcium. I have oyster shell out too, but that's not their preference.

We've tried the usual oyster shells and then flaked oyster shells. Barely see them peck at it. The second I put in crushed egg shells? Immediate fan favorite!
