how do you use your eggs?

I wish we had enough extras to wonder what to do with. Might have to add to the flock come spring. Friends are always asking when they are going to get some eggs.

Only my grandpa has been a taker and my mom but only for baking.

We use some for eating, and baking. We give all extras to friends, then to the food pantry! We have 10 ducks, & 12 laying hens right now & we get an egg a day from each hen. So we have lots of extras for the pantry!

I think they need some serious education about what is fresh and what is not. Maybe you should do a cooking demonstration for them and let them taste side by side, your nice fresh ones and store ones.

I have two friends that buy my eggs, some are given to my husband's customers, some are given to our parents, and we eat the rest. Having only 8 laying hens, they tend to disappear fast.

i know several people who will not eat an egg if it is free range. They say it has extra strong flavor. lol I just laugh and hope thier gro store doesn't go under.
