how does he get all double yolks??

There is a man that sells his eggs a the Farmer's Market here. All of his eggs are double yolks-- any ideas how he does it? Is it something he feeds his girls? I asked my mother (she's been with birds all her life), she has no idea.

He probably has girls that had that gene in them.. now how he is able to hatch those girls.. no idea.

that's pretty much what Mama said, that some hens just lay double yolk-- but he sells prolly 20 doz a week-- HOW does he get all those hens that lay double!? I don't really care how many yolks my eggs have, just was wondering
