How Does Momma Duck Get Baby To Drink And Eat?

I agree totally with Keeper watch closely, one of mine tried to kill Snows baby and wouldn't let her have it. My Mommy duck's daughter adopted it and Mommy let her. Mommy is the duck that taught it to eat and drink, though.

Watch very closely for a few days. Pet the mother Duck first then pet the duckling. So that her scent is on the duckling. Rub her scent all over the duckling. Then introduce them. It should work out fine.

Momma did not take to new baby at all and the baby ran as fast as she could to us, so she's now back in the cage by my side, I'm not complaining!
