How does this stuff happen ???? UPDATE Mystery solved page 3 6/22/09

[Chicken Rustler]

Today we went to the barn to check on the chickens and what a surprise. In the enclosed area where we have our 3 young banties there is a white silkie setting on 6 large brown eggs !!

Now keep in mind that 1)we have no silkies 2) we only have 3 hens that are laying and 3) we check for and collect any eggs several times a day. How can this stuff happen ??

Oh My Goodness!! Do your neighbors have silkies? I suspect that you've got a neighbor chickie that wants to hatch some eggs and she don't care whose they are!

"Why does this stuff never happen to me?"
