How far do you live from Walmart?

Quote:
BantyChickMom, I'm with you, I love Wally World and spend a great deal of time and money there. We buy most of our groceries there and they are open 24/7 so I can go late at night when it's not so busy.

3 miles or 15 min. (traffic!) to the new SuperWalmart. And they sell grit/chick food, but not layer food
I hate the local feed store.

10 miles in either direction and they are thinking of buy some property about 3 miles down the road. I'm in there couple times a week sometimes. It's one stop shopping and with gas as high as it is it makes sense for me to shop there. I pass it on my way to work.

Ours is 17 miles and it is turning into a Super Walmart (I hate winter construction and remodeling, it makes the parking lot something out of a horror movie).

Ours sells layer crumbs and pellets, hog feed and cracked corn. I buy the later two as it saves me $3 or more a bag but I still buy my layer pellets at the feed store because it is manufactured in state, has a 20% protein content, and works better nutrionally when I mix it with crimped barley and whole oats that I feed my whole flock of ducks, chickens, turkeys, and lone goose on. I find the water fowl enjoy the whole grains alot and it keeps all of them from getting too "fat" on the inside.

I find that they undersell on so many things like pullups, children's clothes, and even live plants that I would be silly not to shop there. The best is the after holiday clearance, I always start planning ahead to the next holiday. Bonus points if I actually remember where I squirreled it away at.

4 miles from Clarksville Supercenter # 3, 7 miles from supercenter #2, and 15 miles from supercenter #1. Also 20 miles from Oak Grove Ky walmart, and probably just as close to Ashland City Tn walmart. SCARY!

Yes, I shop their often because they fit my budget, but no, shopping there does not make me happy. I hate that store but I hate paying too much for stuff that has been sitting on the shelves forever at the other stores since nobody shops there either. We grow 98% of our veggies in the summer so I buy produce there only when I must. Wish we had a good farmers market.

I wish they sold chicken feed! The Food Lion across the street sells scratch, almost took a pic with my phone of that!
