How far have you driven just to get a chicken ?

I just wanted to see how far some people would drive to get that perfect bird they want so bad . I drove 1100 miles round trip just to pick up one bird ! but it was well worth it .

We take birds back and forth, to and from No. Michigan to So. Kentucky, several times per year. It is 11-12 hours each way. But, there's visiting and such as well.

I just took a trip this weekend 9 hours one way to PA to darrel sheraws waterfowl farm and picked up the call ducks i had reserved for me. long drive but i got some stunning show calls. and many new colors!!!
