It really depends on the chicken, most just get out of my way and only run if I try to pick them up, actually all of them run when I try to pick them up. I have one that follows me everywhere because the mama who hatched him would follow me everywhere and she taught her chicks to do that. Unfortunately a Neighbors evil pitiful killed her and most of her chicks so the cockerel that survived follows me somewhat like I was his mother however if I try to pick him up he runs away. His mother and him followed me because I am always living stuff up as I work in my evergreen nursery and Crickets hide under the pots bricks and boards I lift up. Not all the chickens have caught on to this easy food trick but a few follow him when he follows me but they won't come close enough to me for me to ever pick them up. I have another Cockerel who was the first I ever hatched and though he tries to avoid it He is easy for me to pick up and grab. He is on the verge of becoming a Rooster. Both of them Are Maran Sex Links, BCM over Cuckoo Marans. I try not to have 2 of the same Male since I only need one but since both of them like me compared to the other chickens I am considering one for breeding and one for leading the flock that free ranges the Nursery to eat the weeds in the potted plants. None of the trees I grow are edible to chickens but from time to time they dig one out or pluck one out before it full roots in the pot. Small price to pay for having all the pots weeded thoroughly.

All of mine are name trained by group and also respond to their individual names. When I'm gone to work and come back home I always call them to make sure everyone is still home. They are free range by the way. I trained them from chicks and they respond very well I've never had an issue . They know the sound of a bag of bread shaking and what that means, they know mealworms shaking in a jar and what time it is. They also know the sound of a new bag of feed and what that means. I am the only one they allow to touch, hold, or pet them. They also do not respond to anyone else's voice even if it's their group name or individual names.

Mine are pretty much the same. When I’m around they flock to me not away but hey I feed them. Mine free range in evenings and weekends when home. I can call mine in but my husband they give a hard time. I’m training him to train them with food but I am the chicken whisperer around here mainly because I do all their care and raised them from day one. They do let me pet and I can pick them up. They also will crowd around me when I just sit outside with them. They are infinitely curious. I occasionally pick them up to hold, stroke and coo to them. I love my hens.

I absolutely love it it shows how smart they really are. If my roosters get close to the road I can tell them to come back home and they come running. They know not to be in the road but they are a group of 3 roosters and they always "flirt" with the hen across the street even though they have girls at home.

Lol! My flock are terribly unsure of the husband, he is one sure way to get every single chicken except the brahma to dissapear. :lau

My husband grew up on a farm and always says how nice my chickens are, so I guess that's something.

If I'm visible they will run to the nearest part of the run, I might have treats. I don't spoil them with treats, but many days the only time I spend with my chickens is to bring them food and water, so seeing me is definitely equated with food.

I don't let them loose so I have no idea if they would come or if I could catch them. Once in awhile one escapes and is usually trying to figure out how to get back into the run with the others so it's pretty easy to catch at that point.

My coop is not walk in, so I'm not sure what they'd do. I expect they'd scatter at first and then come over to me to see if I have food. They usually come to see what's going on any time I open any door or hatch for any cleaning or egg collection or maintenance.

I'd probably describe them as tame and curious. I don't know that I'd use the words friendly or cuddly ;)

I answered yes to they will all come when called but I'm not including my new OEGB hens, hopefully in time they will with enough treats
Again excluding my OEGB all but one of my flock members will let me pick them up when free ranging, she's a hands off silkie unless you have her cornered

Mine will sort of come when called, if I crouch down and clap my hands they will come investigate and get close enough for me to pick them up. I would say they are pretty tame, some will sit for a long time and snuggle. Others will come see me but won't sit for long. My barred rocks and one of my campines are probably the sweetest.
