How hot is it where you are????

It's so hot in Texas today that my broody hen is STANDING over her eggs to let some air flow through! It's so hot that I have a FAN, not a light bulb, over my 2-day old chicks.

57 days without rain, and triple-digit heat!

Thank the good Lord we have gotten rain the past couple days!! We were dry! The rain has cooled it down to the lower 90s and that is a big relief! We have been triple digits mostly here.

it is so cold and Rainy here only in the 50's today i had the wood stove going this morning so far this is the summer that never came

Dorothy1324 must live in New England because I'm in NH and it's the same. I will try to send some of our rain to Texas and maybe you could send some of that bright shiny stuff that my garden is desperate for.

Been a cold wet summer here too so far. Only one week 80-90 degrees.

well we had a few days of nice rain over the holiday weekend - but today it is HOT HOT HOT HOT and DRY and HOT HOT HOT HOT

today it hit 101 !!
