Wow, sorry to hear that. Our A/C went out about a week ago, but is now fixed. Not fun.

I hate to say it.. but i've gotten used to it.. the feral cats decided to kill our AC duct a while back.. just havent gone under the house to fix it yet.. course as soon as we do they shred it again.. so we're gonna have to replace it one day with metal

HA! I knew there was a reason I love the frozen tundra!!! 75 and partly cloudy this aftn. Absolutely gorgeos. Feel free to hate me now or just laugh at me this winter when it's FORTY BELOW AND SNOWING.

DH says he can remember a time when this house had no A/C, but I couldn't handle it.

Sorry guys but heat waves just don't exist out here.

110 yesterday.

Lost 2 more chickens. Sigh. Fan, shade, water, ice, ice cream, frozen bottles, wading pool, we're trying everything. The silkies are holding up the best. Next year we're going to get a portable AC for them.

Do you mind home schooling the kids, or should I bring them with me? And, will you flip the incubator 3 times a day? and ... oh, could you leave a list of local pubs on the counter, I'm sure the hubby would love that!

112* yesterday, supposed to be the same today. It is just too hot. I've only lost one hen this summer, but when I put them up at night I've been hosing down the coop and spraying the chickens. They hate the hose, but at least being damp cools them a little. We've also been doing a mister in the afternoon.

I cannot wait for the first cool front or rain.

I keep checking weather.com even though I know what the forecast is. I just love to click on the 10 day forecast and see the low 90s we are supposed to start having come the first of September.
