How important is foot / beak color in identifying a chick's breed?

Rather than posting a pic of my McMurray FRC, I'll work on it myself - for a bit. The feet are silvery grey, as is most of the beak, with a bit of dark amber at the head. Is this foot and/or beak color an important characteristic? It seems to be ruling out quite a few breeds if I pay attention to it when looking at pics of other chicks.
 
Yes, it is: For example, Black Australorps have black feet with pink pads, as opposed to other black breeds that look similar as chicks.
Are the "silvery gray" feet sort of green-gray? Does the chick have muffs? Sounds like it *might* be an EE...
