How is everybody hatching this year?

My 1st BR went broody in Feb. She got off the eggs with 10 days to go.

Now I have 1 broody buff orpington sitting on 5 BR eggs. They are due to hatch May 3. The 2nd BO is sitting on 6 BR eggs. They are due to hatch May 12. I'm starting to get excited.

I have 4 Red Bourbons going into lock down tonite one is already rocking and this is my first time with turkeys and I have more in the mail hopefully I'll have a good hatch

I am actually nervous as heck because tomorrow is day 28 for my broody BR sitting on 11 BR eggs. Have a second on 15 eggs due May 3 and a third hen is probable going to start sitting in the next couple days on my prized acquisitions, Wishard standard bronze eggs. First time with broodies and first time hatching turkeys, so very exciting!

I set 12 Emden Geese and 5 bourbon red eggs about 3 weeks ago. Candled them last week and now have 5 of each that should hatch on the 25th. Have a second batch of 9 geese and 5 BR eggs due May 13th. Haven't candled them yet. Have another batch I'll put in soon. THis is my first year hatching turkeys or geese.
I have a Spanish Balck tom penned up with a blue slate hen, and a pair of BR.

I'll let you know the beginning of next week. First time I have ever incubated turkey eggs and they are from my own birds. Out of 8, six were fertile and are developing nicely.

Out of thirteen eggs in the bator and due to hatch Thurs/Friday...I awoke to three pips this morning!! Bourbon Reds! I am so excited, this is my first time, too.

I just had my first two Bourbon babies hatch!!! I wasn't even sure there was anything in these eggs because I know that often times the first few eggs a hen lays aren't fertile and when I candled these they had dark spots but no veining or other obvious signs of life but they weren't smelling so I left them in the incubator and sure enough we've got two babies today right on time. Guess ol' Rosie was doing his job after all. The rest of my incubator is filled with a staggered hatch of Bourbons and Midgets and a couple of Auburns. We'll see what happens. I sure am loving this new Sportsman.

We had one Midget hatch yesterday on day 26, I heard something banging around in one of the incubators (the new one has a window in the door so you can't really see in it) and there was a poult. I saw some of the other pipping so they should be out soon. We run the temp at 100F so they usually do hatch about a day early but that guy couldn't wait to get out.

yeah I was worried I had a Red Bourbon that came yesterday at day 26 seems fine and I have another out this morning 2 left and the rest are black coppers thanks for posting that now I know they might come a little early. That early one is pretty cute like a mother hen over the one that just hatched. I noticed that my poult seems quieter than a chick cheeping wise it did walk around rolling eggs checking to see who wants to come out and play
